Description

It is a wooden organizer/gift box

it looks like oak tree , you can close it with lid that hides when you center it

-i hope you like the simple natural organizer box , you can use it to store stuff :D

I printed this out of 2 tone wood PLA. I used a variation of the "Add Wood Grain Effects to Your Models" model/method to add the wood texture rings to the top and bottom pieces. I also printed 5mm tall versions of the lid as test prints that I decided to keep as coasters. I'm still toying around with the model as I am trying to center the inner circle of the lid as it's a little off. I'm also toying with the ring sizes as I think they are a little to "thin" for me.

FYI - I would post my take on things as another print profile, but the current license does not permit any remixes. If you change that I would be happy to post my end result.

good design, the only problem is that the diameter between the log and the shutter are not the same (64mm vs 71.8mm): the box cannot be closed

Testing the WOOD filament from Hobby Lobby Looks good but lite brown. It can be sanded and stained... will try that later. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
