8 mm - Shelf-Pin Offset Snap (DS Part A)
Print Profile(1)

Description
32mm & 5mm Shelf-Pin Offset Snap
The Shelf-Pin Offset Snap creates an 8mm gap between your Multiboard and a surface, compatible with the standard 32mm spacing and 5mm deep shelf-pin holes commonly found in cabinetry.
This versatile piece fits onto the corners of your Multiboard, integrating smoothly into systems using the “off-a-surface” mounting setup.
There are plates with various pin configurations shifted from the center point of the snap:
- 0mm
- 1mm
- 2mm
- 3mm
- 4mm
- 5mm
- 6mm
- 7mm
- 8mm
- 9mm
- 10mm
- 11mm
- 12mm
- 13mm
This allows you to match up mounting points in the 25x25 gridfinity grid with the 32mm spacing of shelf-pin holes. For offsets greater than 13mm, you can likely flip the part and use a different shelf-pin hole with a different shift amount.
You can secure the snap to the shelf-pin holes by inserting into shelf pin holes directly, without the need for screws. This is typically used for light-weight mounting solutions and IS NOT RECOMMENDED to bear significant amounts of weight.
As a “Double Sided Part A” snap, it can be joined with the Double Sided Snap - Part B for a secure connection. When joining these pieces, ensure the alignment of the square symbols.
