Description
What you see here is a mod for your classic FlySky I6X to more than double the battery life and easily charge it with a very common USB-C cable.
To make it, you need some understanding of electronics (but honestly, if you are able to build rc cars you can do this).
This setup utilizes a 18650 lithium rechargeable battery wired in a 18650 battery protector with integrated USB-C charger, wired in a buck-boost converter to adjust the battery voltage to the needs of the remote.
Parts needed :
- (1) 18650 battery of any capacity (the higher the longer the battery life) AVOID CHEAP LITHIUM BATTERIES AT ALL COST !!! 9000 mAh BATTERIES OR SOME EQUIVALENT ARE FAKE AND USAGE OF THEM MAY RESULT IN A FIRE OR EXPLOSION !!!

- (4) M2x6 screws
- (1) pair of JST 2 pins connectors like these ones ( https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005005409913562.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.40dc378dWTvKTp&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra ) (silicone cable is recommended for flexibility, but pvc wire will the the job perfectly)
- the (3) 3d printed parts (case, cover and connector socket)
