where is the 310 and the 380mm box measured from and to? I am guessing its inside across the box? My internal containers are 90mm x 130mm x 100mm tall but they have a recess in the bottom. see photo. Do any of you containers fit my type of tactix boxes.

The sizes 310 and 380 are the widths of the box that the storage bins are in - see the photo of the box label below. The bins are designed to fit the boxes as indicated in the links and I'm not aware of any other type, sorry 😞.

cheers bud. Mine is an early model I think, 9 tub Heavy duty organiser. I am just having trouble as it has insets that fit inside the bottom of the t ub all the later ones dont seem to have that.

Your one looks like a complete different range. See image below: - top container = current model. Currently selling (2025/2026) at Bunnings. - bottom container = old model. Got it 10+ years ago at Bunnings too. The bins doesn't fit the old model either. They change the dimension a bit. The old model can fit Gridfinity standard height (6U) bin without any dividers.

My printer has been spitting out so many of these things over the last few weeks. I have 12 other boxes at work for screws and other various small parts and now I cannot fathom using these cases without these inserts haha. Would you consider making a version for each of the size of cases with a 3x long insert? I've got a few various sizes of bolts that are super long. :)

I modded the bottom by extruding down. my printer really didn't like the overhang. I'm not really sure if the bottom bevel is necessary. thanks for the design. perfect fit.

Thanks max. A tiny bevel means any dirt/sand won't affect the tray, but I didn't require that much. Thanks for the design. I think I've printed 80+ of them in the last 48 hours. All those screws weighs a lot!

I was right in the middle of building out my organisation with Gridfinity and I found your model for the cheap bunning tactix container. 5 tactix containers done, 3 more to go, and maybe more in the future. Compare to gridfinity bins, this feels much more economical to print. Thanks.

Awesome print. Have printed lots of the individual bins with no issues. A plate of just the double inserts without the larger ones for near the handles would be awesome but I have managed so far. Thanks for uploading.

i love this idea! im going to print these regardless but it would be awsome to have a gridfinity version so you could swap out trays as you needed them for different jobs ect, very minor detail but just itches my OCD with gridfinity :P but great work!! printing as we speak

Glad you like them, thanks for the boost! Not sure what you mean with the gridfinity version. Is it the bins you mean, modified so that they fit into a gridfinity baseplate?....and then you'd transfer them from your drawer full of gridfinity bins to the tactix storage case when needed?
