Description
A geography project for middle school students, designed and built by a seventh grader.
This is a project created by a seventh grader for a geography assignment. It mainly displays Earth's axis, the equator, the tropics of Capricorn, the Arctic and Antarctic circles, and the lines of longitude.
I sought his permission to put the model on MakerWorld. If any middle school students need to complete their geography homework, they can download and print this model.
Since the spherical model is printed as a whole, a hole needs to be drilled at the poles after printing, allowing the polar axis to pass through. I used PLA Matte material, so I used a drill to make a hole manually. Of course, you can also use a soldering iron to heat and make a hole. The diameter of the hole is around 4-4.5mm.
