DF-31AG Intercontinental Ballistic Missile
The DF-31AG is an improved model of the DF-31A, with a slightly thicker and longer launch tube than the DF-31A, its payload capacity and maximum range have been increased; The DF-31AG still uses a single warhead, but the penetration method has changed from the decoy penetration of the DF-31A to maneuverable penetration; The transport platform has been upgraded from the DF-31A's semi-trailer to an 8-axle high-mobility TEL launch vehicle similar to the DF-41, the bottom of the launch tube has a buffer layer, and it has the ability to launch quickly without relying on any support; Most importantly, the DF-31AG is a new concept intercontinental ballistic missile that is "both nuclear and conventional".
