Modular Furniture Connector
This 3D printed model is a versatile furniture connector, designed to provide a convenient solution for joining sofa sections or other furniture units. For optimal strength and durability, it is recommended to print 6 perimeter walls.
Connection: The connector employs a ratchet mechanism that securely holds two furniture pieces together. Simply squeeze the units together, and the ratchet will engage, ensuring a firm connection.
Disconnection: To separate the connected units, gently lift the part with the latch. This action releases the ratchet, allowing the furniture pieces to be easily detached without any tools
V2 Improvements - new print profile:
- Chamfered Screw Holes: Added chamfers to conceal screws.
- Optimized Jaw Design: Jaws are slightly tilted (not parallel) to enhance grip.
- Compact Base: Reduced base size for improved versatility and a more discreet installation.
