Description
Dolmen at “El Berguedà”. It dates back to approximately 3500 BC.
The model was made with photogrammetry by a friend who is an archaeologist. This as a special place for him as its from our hometown. I offered him print it for educational purposes. He loved tha idea and asked me if I could split in two sections. So, as a proof of concept, I divided it into two parts and, inspired by 'gridfinity,' decided to mount the dolmen on a magnetic base. This way, it can either be displayed whole or some other ways by positioning the halves differently."
It's not a standard gridfinity (I tried but I prefered doing like this)
I doubt no one is printing this, probably more valuable of the model is the idea of print gridfinity like terrain. (And I'm sure Im not the first to think about that). Note that I used chineese cheap 6x2mm magnets. Not sure if they match bambu 6x2
*The dolmen is a funerary structure characteristic of what is known as megalithism.
