Description

VERSION 4.0 can now be downloaded HERE → https://makerworld.com/en/models/1220060-folding-utility-blade-version-4-0#profileId-1236718

If you want to see the full description of this model - please go to my profile and look at version 1.0 and 2.0. There are assembly and print instructions there (with video).

This is version 3.0. I made some significant design changes that not only make it function better, but also make it stronger and safer. See Youtube video at the end of the descriptions. This will be my last version of this knife (probably).

I am now allowing remixes to this knife, as long as you give me credit and link to my original model. No commercial sales are allowed - if interested in that, please message me. (However, I probably wouldn't sell these, considering they are 3d printed knives. The risk of injury is significant - please be careful using them)

I am also making the STEP and Fusion360 files available for download, so you can change your allowances (depending on filament type and printer tolerances). Print the knife and if things are too tight, you can loosen the allowances, and vice versa. You can also change the magnet size, and any other changes you might want to make (in Version 2.0, I added a keychain loop and belt clip). The model I have included for download works perfectly for PLA and these 6mmx2mm magnets → HERE (Amazon).

This video explains the changes I have made in this version, and gives some insight on my design choices, etc…..
