As always, with any problem, a solution is bound to come. 3D printing comes always with a solution, as it should be.
As a request from a friend i designed a simple but effective shower curtain rod holder that could be easily installed and that would fit many of the curtain rods available on the market. Be it a cheap one that you can buy on a “euro store", ikea or the most expensive ones.
The difference between all of those available and already shared is a inner lip that prevents the rod to slip. Removal of the rod is as simple as lifting it up… That's it.
Since this is a community for the community, i thought of sharing the model in case anyone needs it.
If needed, it can be fully customizable, from the screw size to the rod size.
Actual sizing:
- rod diameter - up to 50mm
- screw hole - 4mm (any length you want)
- screw head - 6mm
Because 3D printing is not only about figures or beautiful modeled things.
