Description

Simple hinge designed for Print-in-place, no supports needed. Super smooth rotational movement with printed built in shaft, also with multiple hole locations. Might be a little stiff straight out of print, but once freed is able to rotate.

Thanks for printing this out! Hinge should definitely be easy to free, might feel slightly rough at first but definitely useable!

Mine never did open. They will break if I force them anymore. Using A1 printer. It’s dialed in because this is the first print with clearances that won’t work. I tried hard to move back and forth. Won’t budge. Thank you anyways. Talk to you later.

Very firm, tight tolerance and survived being stepped on, excellent model for durability.

Quality file. Easy to print. In my experience, the version with tighter tolerances was superior.

Printed 4 of these. broke all of them trying to get them to open. Bad design.

sorry to hear, I haven't had any issues using PLA on the X1-carbon and P1S but do let me know where about they are breaking, happy to take on the feedback

I printed them out on my A1 and I let them sit and tried to break the hinge loose and the flat mounting surface cracked from the pressure. I’m new to printing so I’m gonna give it another go. any setting tips will help.

Aside of the model itself, which appears to be good, the clearance is too small what causes issues in releasing the hinge. I modified the infill to gyroid 40% in order not to break it easily, yet still the hinge face was first, before the bolt.

Thanks for having a go at printing this, I'm looking at changing the tolerance for this profile to see what might be happening for some users. I've never come across any fusing issues but will come with an update soon.
