Meshtastic RAKwireless Case - R1 Remix (Read Desc)

To start, this is a remix of Muzi works R1 device.

Couldn't figure out how to classify this as a remix because the R1 isn't posted on here.

This case aims to fix the biggest problem with the R1, the range. I tested many configurations of antennas and antenna placement. I found that the “stock” antenna in the R1 isn't big enough and has to much material around it. The solution was to install a bigger antenna and give it a “chamber". With this case and antenna configuration I was able to get ACK on nodes that the R1 was not able to.

Also to note, I am by no means a professional in CAD or 3D printing so there are bound to be some mistakes. I'm just sharing to give my soultion to others.

All you need to purchase is a Starter Kit from Rokland, the battery from Muzi (or Ali Express) and some screws. Or do what I did and take the guts out of the R1 and put them in my case. I put this as public domain to give back to the community and also solve a problem. Also I removed the main power button on the R1, I found the control on the phone app is enough. The reset button will turn the device on and you can control the rest in the app. (for iPhone, not sure on android)
