Description
My kids kept asking for an upgraded Elf on a shelf door, or more specific house, so i made one.
Pretty happy with how this turned out, and the external lamp- / sign makes it something else.
The 3mf file attached is painted from how i chose to print, but feel free to play around with it.
“Glass” for windows and pole are on a seperate plate, optional to print.
Made a backplate aswell for glueing things together. I havent used it on my pictures, but plan to for when its going down from the wall after holidays to keep everything more solid.
Also recommended to use backplate when installing glass (was a test of patience and delicate fingers without).
Watch orientation when moving things around, some of the elements are thicker to make aditonal 3D effect. Make sure your objects are even on the plate (Facing the correct way)
NB! Had a comment about things being to fragile the second when print finishes. Like all other prints, wait until it cools before removing, and you will not have this problem.
Glue optional for mounting, but pieces fits snug together with a little patience.
I used double sided tape for installment on wall. (Easy removal)
