Note for H2 users:

Currently, in Bambu Studio, the option "Wall smoothing speed along Z" is activated; for the tower to function, this must be deactivated!

Hello print friends,

this is a calibration tower to determine the correct print temperature and speed for filaments. Especially with PLA Silk filaments, this has a great influence on the final result. I mainly use it to achieve the best print result with transparent filaments.

Additionally, with the tower, you can check for over and underextrusion, layer adhesion, stringing, and surface quality. You don't need to run the print for every filament; one per family should suffice.

I will also add print profiles for standard PLA, PETG, and ABS. For other types, you can orient yourself by the temperatures. This means the ABS tower also works for ASA, PC, and similar materials. :-)

Here's another important note!

Since the G-code for temperatures is not present in the profiles after uploading to the website, you will need to download the raw files and then open them with your slicer. For those who don't know, this is done in the "Download STL" field. There you will find a corresponding folder with the raw files for the towers. There are also 3mf files, but these work with temperature-changing G-code.

Update:

It can happen that with certain filaments, from a certain level upwards, the temperatures are so low that layer adhesion is no longer sufficient. As a result, the tower is no longer printable and the print may be aborted. But now you know the limits of your filament. :-)

If someone is looking for a TPU profile, I recommend using the Silk profile. The parameters are the same. Feel free to leave information in the comments.
