The following components are required for the model:

Variant 1:

  • 8x2mm magnet (8 pieces) OR 8x4mm (4 pieces)
  • 2x M3x25 screws or longer
  • 2x M3 heat-shrink tubing

Variant 2:

  • 8x2mm magnet (8 pieces) OR 8x4mm (4 pieces)
  • 2x M3x25 screws or longer
  • 2x M3 nut

The model is printed with 6 wall thicknesses so that the heat-shrink tubing has enough “food” to pack. Alternatively, a M3 nut can simply be used in Variant 2 instead of the heat-shrink tubing.

I decided to use the 8x2mm magnets because they are significantly cheaper than magnets with 8x4mm.

But of course you can use them just as well if you want.

The magnets should be glued in with superglue so that the rocker switches cannot pull them out of the holes again.

I personally print almost everything in PETG. But PLA works just as well here, as there is no mechanical impact on the part.

If you like the part, I would appreciate a Boost :-).
