Tengwang Pavilion (Miniature Model)
Print Profile(1)

Description
Tengwang Pavilion, located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, was originally built in the fourth year of the Yong徽 era of the Tang Dynasty. It was named after Li Yuanying, the Prince of Teng. Tengwang Pavilion is majestic and magnificent, with a main building 57.5 meters high and a “three-bright, seven-dark” main pavilion above the platform. It stands by the river, with a magnificent momentum. Over the centuries, countless poets and scholars have left behind their immortal works here. Today, it is not only a historical and cultural landmark, but also a landmark building in Nanchang.
There are a total of five plates, and the time and materials required are acceptable. The overall structure is hollow and translucent, with snap-fit connections on each layer for assembly. Due to the limitations of 3D printing, some of the buildings have been simplified (well, it’s definitely not because of my lack of skills), but the overall momentum and structure are fine. Hope you like it.
A few things to keep in mind:
1. Due to the layered nature of the bottom floor and roof, support is required. This type of support needs to be tree-like, which makes it particularly difficult to remove the support at the bottom. I usually find an angle and use pliers to pry it up. Because the model’s railings and pillars are quite fragile, you need to be careful when handling them. Take your time, otherwise you’re likely to break them.
2. You need to add a brim, with a width of 5 or 10, because of the sloping eaves. If the platform’s adhesion is not strong enough, it’s easy to crack, and the bottommost circle will fall off (that’s what happened the first time I printed it. It was a waste of material. After adding a brim, this no longer happens).
3. Don’t rush when snapping the pieces together. First align three sides. If the fourth side doesn’t fit, you can gently push the wall inward with your fingers to make the wall bend a little inward. This will allow it to snap in. Additionally, the last plate has two small eaves that need to be glued to the side door pillars on the first layer.
There aren’t any other problems. Thank you, everyone!~~
