THE FILAMENT TANGLE FIXER (using spool mount)


Tired of filament unraveling and getting messy during Z-axis movements? This soft mod, without modifying the original parts, clips directly onto the spool holder, offering a simple and effective solution—no tools or extra screws needed. Designed specifically for the A1 Mini.

 


This part is designed to solve a common issue at the end of prints: when the Z-axis moves up, the filament can unravel, causing mess and frustration when the print head moves back down.
My model offers a solution without modifying any original parts of your 3D printer. It attaches directly to the spool holder, freeing the PTFE tube from the Z-axis movement, preventing any surprises during printing.

Tool-free installation: This part clips in easily without needing any tools or extra screws, making installation quick and accessible for everyone.

 

Two versions are available:

  1. Light version: Quickly printable, perfect for those who want a fast solution.
  2. Full version: This part covers the entire rail at the back of the printer, offering optimal stability.

Ideal for A1 Mini printers, this part clips onto the existing PTFE tube guide. Say goodbye to filament problems and print with confidence!
