Hello,
i designed a 2S 18650 Battery / Akku Box for the Arrma 1:18 GROM Models, in my Case the Granite. I had several older 18650 Cells laying around from defekt Vacuum Akku and other sources and decided to give it a try. Follow my Guide to build one for yourself.
I used this Box with XT60 Connectors for my modified GROOM with brushless. The Original has EC2 Connectors but they are nowhere to by ( at least in Germany ). But feel free to use them to make it work with the stock Arrma ESC. You can also use the EC2 Connector to charge with the original Charger and skip my charging board for USB-C but be aware of polarity and the connection for the middle pin in the ec2 Connector to get balancing to work properly.
This can be printed with PLA+, PETG but i would recommend ASA/ABS for it can get pretty hot inside the car during summer and the electronics emitting heat as well as the charger. I havent had any issues with PLA+ so far but keep this in Mind.
