King's Glory - Arthur - 10cm FDM Optimization
Print Profile(2)

Description
Post-Test Printing Suggestions
1. Z-height: A minimum of 10cm is recommended; larger sizes are acceptable, maintaining decent detail. Microscale prints will compromise detail.
2. Layer Height: I prefer 0.12mm for this model, although 0.16mm is also suitable.
3. Other Considerations: The cape and sword hilt are somewhat distant from the main body, necessitating reinforced support strength to prevent toppling and wasted effort.

I create models across multiple series, updating based on community feedback and popularity. I optimize detail for FDM printing within the 10cm-15cm height range, providing recommended print sizes based on my testing. My goal is to ensure superior detail with FDM printing. Further model updates are forthcoming, and your support is appreciated.

20240926 Update:
1. Updated Arthur model with enhanced detail for 10cm height—highly recommended. Although my print had layer adhesion issues (possibly due to excessive support or PETG material), the model's precision provides a good reference.
I typically use 0.12mm layer height for figurines. 0.08mm sometimes results in unexpectedly coarse surfaces, hence a slower print speed. Adjust settings as needed.

Print Result Update
After a 10-hour remote print that initially seemed successful, I discovered layer adhesion failure upon my return. The default support and brim settings may have been too strong, resulting in a layered misprint… wasting materials. However, excluding the flawed layers, the rest printed well—a significant improvement over the previous version. No further model updates are planned.
Experienced users can experiment with support settings. Feel free to share your finished prints.
0.12mm layer height + optimized model—significantly improved results.

Original Version (Optimized and Removed):
I printed a 10cm version for testing; details were somewhat lost, but the overall shape remained satisfactory for a 10cm print. The bright red color made details harder to see in photos.
Further detail refinement is planned. I aim to achieve enhanced detail even at the 10cm scale. Having recently acquired Bambu Lab's factory matte filament, I repaired a foot, with pleasing results. See the last two images.
For now, larger prints are recommended to minimize detail loss. My printing parameters were for rapid prototyping, resulting in a smaller scale. An optimized 10cm version will be uploaded soon.
Your support for this model is appreciated. Upon reaching 5 boosts or 50 downloads, I will release the next model (tentatively Guan Yu).
