MTG Counter Dials & Ability Tiles Box

This is a box I designed to hold my collection of Double Sided Counter Dials and a handful of Ability Tiles for Magic the Gathering. This was heavily inspired by @ChappIO's great MTG Winged Counters & Box design. It is made up of 3 separate parts: a main box to hold the dials, a main lid (with a secondary box to hold the tiles), and a secondary lid for the ability tiles. For the entire box:

• The main box itself holds 27x counter dials
• The secondary ability tile box on the main lid holds 12x ability tiles
• 3x different designs to choose from (each has its own print profile):
  • ‘Counters’ box
  • ‘P/T Counters’ box
  • Blank box so you can customize it to whatever you'd like

* If you have previously printed the box that I include with each and every counter dial, that box is compatible with this print. In fact, it is the same exact box! You will just need to print the new main lid and the secondary lid!

Additional Hardware

The box and main lid require (affiliate link) 8x round magnets (4mm x 2mm). These are the exact magnets I used, but I've also linked the same sized magnets from Bambu Lab's store below in the Bill of Materials section.

Assembly

The main lid of the box is intentionally loose to allow for easy opening and closing. Therefore, the counter box and main lid require a total of 8x round magnets (4mm x 2mm) to keep it securely closed. The secondary lid is just a friction fit, also it is held in place by the box's lid lip when the whole thing is closed up!

For my prints, the tolerance was perfect for pushing the magnets in without glue. For more security or if they are too loose, feel free to use a small drop of super glue. Make sure the magnets' polarities are correct!
