Description

Designed to clip onto your existing disk guard. Stays in place with friction/clamping. Will fit most Milwaukee battery powered angle grinders (I use it on an M18 FSAG model). Keep in mind that even though my printed version has a strong and tight fit, yours might not due to printer calibration and filament type.

!! you must print this in VERY IMPACT PROOF FILAMENT with good layer adhesion !! and use at your own risk

Only print in hard TPU or PP. I cannot think of another material that is impact proof enough. Every other filament (that I know and that can be printed below 300°C) will be prone to shattering if ever your disk blows up or when you get a strong kickback.

It has to be printed with supports, especially the 100% overhangs. You could get away without supports inside the vacuum tube but not on the overhanging planes.

The vacuum tube has an conical opening of 35mm width going to 34mm width over a distance of 36mm. Designed to very tightly fit the Milwaukee 49901957 Power Tool Adapter

Clip onto your disk guard, position it so that the angled cutout is at the front of your machine and make sure your disk guard does not cover the vacuum opening.

Edit: works like a charm
