Description

I left my chess board in another state so… this is a tournament size chess board that can be broken down into 4 pieces that connect together. Assembly and gluing is super fast and easy so anyone can do it (assembly instructions are below).

Print:

  • 4x chessboard quadrants
  • 8x bowtie joints

Assembly:

  1. Layout:
    • Place all 4 quadrants of the chess board as though you are about to play a game
  2. Flip Upside Down:
    • Without changing the arrangement, flip the entire chessboard upside down so the checkerboard pattern is facing downward
  3. Glue Bowties:
    • You need to glue all of the bowties such that every bowtie is only glued on one end, and every quadrant only has 2 bowties that are glued to it, and the bowtie pairs on each quadrant must be adjacent (Look at the photo above if you are still confused)
