Description

I needed a top for my terrarium so I used the mesh model made by BrainsCollector but added rims to all sides.

The rims prevents the mesh from bending in the middle even if your filament is soft.

 

I printed the mesh in transparent PETG on a smooth plate for better light in the enclosure. The mesh holes are small enough so no fruitflies can escape.

 

The size is for terrariums made out of A4 sheets of acrylic, but you can scale it however you like.

I used this model as a base design to fit out 4 gallon cube tank for our Betta. I'm amazed by how flexible and fabric like the print is in PETG. I measured cutouts for electrical and some of the hard scale and it came out perfect! going to save this mesh for other designs in the future. Thanks!
