Description

Tired of accidentally hitting those channel buttons on the bottom of your Roku remote? Well not anymore! Every other solution I've found, involved taking apart the remote to replace the buttons or disable them. Now you can just clip this in place, and never bump them again. But easily reversible if you ever want to use them again.

 

Modeled from scratch in Fusion 360. Will need tree supports to print properly. I prefer the finish with a raft, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

 

EDIT:  Added a revised version that fits tighter.  Extended the fingers in a bit, and made them a tad longer.  Hugs the remote better now.

I'm printing v5 now. But by tighter I didn't mean bigger, tighter...I would like to feel it snap into place.

v5 is alright, it is tighter. But has to be removed to get battery cover back on. I prefer v4 because it fits in the groove...it just needs to snap in.

I have 2 different styles of Roku controller, this matches my 6 lower button one. Printed on my SparkX i7 with the 3MF file profile. added tree support to the inside.

Printed well, looks good. only downside is now the remote is too big to go in the wall mounted holder I printed previously.
