The Impossible Car is a unique car that seems to defy the laws of physics! When you pull the string on the car, the car actually moves in the opposite direction from which you're pulling!

Using a simple but clever gear system, pulling the string causes the wheels of the car to turn in the opposite direction making the car move in the opposite direction you'd expect!

The Impossible Car is easy to print, with no supports, brims, and no AMS needed. The string used is the MF001 and the rubber bands for the wheel are the RA002 20mm bands from Bambu Lab's Maker's Supply (links at the bottom of this page).

It is a good design but my only problem so far is that the back wheels have too much friction so it just puts the car in a wheelie instead of moving forward.

I'm not sure where a got it. I found it in my box of things. It wouldn't be hard to model something to print.

needs some extra weight to work better.

have you tried adding the rubber bands on the wheels that will cause friction so it can work. because without them it will just be pulled towards the string because of the lack of friction!

What a great, fun little print that works as advertised. the tolerances were spot on and everything fit together nice and snug. Added just a drop of ca to the tips of the pins and also used Buna - 123 o-rings for the wheels and they fit perfectly and work great. Thanks for the model upload. Nice job.

Other Issues:As other reviews say, it doesn't work, it needs way more weight on top otherwise it just does a wheelie... The thread can easily go into the gears and tangle itself, the gears need a cover so the thread can't go in. The car needs a top cover, shaped like an empty box so you can put something heavy on top so it doesn't wheelie. Those 2 simple changes would make this a really cool toy but as is, it's unusable :(
