Description

made a ceiling outlet box where it is not a pain in the ass do attach cables, as the lid is the thing that covers all the stuff.

just screw to the plastic in the ceiling (eu), put the cable through the hole, connect everything and connect the lid to the base by rotating it.

this version has 4 holes for 4 cables for a kind of distribution system.

modified this to be a bracket that attaches to an outlet for these sconce lights. was a great starting point and printed perfectly

Really nice model, way better designed than the covers I can get in the local shops. Small nitpick: I was printing without supports with a Sunlu PETG filament. While the locking hooks of the cover turned out okay, they are a bit jagged, and it feels like the filament might flake off there. It might be the quality of the filament though.

Great print. Used it as a junction box in a bedroom that I installed a ceiling mount chandelier, but was only wired for a wall mount light. It was a life saver!
