Description

This handy mount lets you set up your Valve Index base station above a door without drilling any holes—perfect for renters! It slides right into the crack above the door and holds everything securely in place. Just pop the wall mount in, and you’re all set for some awesome VR gaming without any damage to your walls!

This may be too loose if the gap above your door is too wide, check that the fit is tight enough to securely hold your base station without it falling down.

Mine initially did not fit at first, fresh off the printer. The side-to-side was too narrow. I used a torch to heat it up a bit and was able to push the Index base station mount into the slot and re-mold the slot to a tight fit. The geometric angle of the casement also doesn't match completely. Given the benefit, sometimes it's just the filament used, I expect that not everyone will have this issue. 3D printing always has issues with measurement perfection. But, as stated, I re-molded it and in the end was able to still use the part - it now goes up every time I want to play VR, and I'm very happy that I have this option available to me, so that I don't have to drill into 40 year old drywall, that I don't own, just to hang a sensor for a game system! :D Happy gaming!
