Filament Swatch with TD Dial for Hueforge

This is my take on the filament swatch, with one distinct feature, a Transmission Distance Dial. If you're like me and enjoy making Hueforge filament paintings and bought the TD-1 to test your filaments, then this is the filament swatch for you!

I saw many great filament swatches while scrolling MakerWorld, many of them were inspiring, but none of them solved my problem. Once bought the TD-1 to test my filament's transmission distances, I quickly found that the same brand/filament type/color could have one transmission distance on one spool, but the very next spool could be completely different. I found myself writing on tape to mark spools with their Brand, color and TD (the 3 most important pieces of info I kept coming back to). I wanted some type of reusable label that I could read (and change with new spools!) with it in my storage tote or in the AMS. The label, or swatch, would follow the roll throughout it's life, then get reused on the next spool of the same brand and color.

This swatch prints in 5 different pieces and simply snaps together for a tight fit without the need for glue. The dial is intentionally tight so that bumping it or dropping it will not change it on accident. The first 2 digits on the left and center represent the whole number, 0 - 99, and the digit on the right is the decimal value.

The file includes blank plates you can add text to in Bambu Studio for any filament you may own. It also come with filament clips for the spools that holds the end of the filament and holds the filament swatch. I also included swatch holders that you can mount to the front of your AMS with some double-sided tape.
