Description

This is an imperial gauge for the Festool Domino DF 500. Easily swap out your metric gauge for one that measures in inches. Based off of the one that it comes with, but with a few modifications.

I had purchased one of these online a while back, and although it worked pretty well, the stop up front wasn’t designed to be as long as it should have been and mine was catching and getting stuck when fully retracted to the rear. My design fixes that issue.

I’ve tweaked the slicer setting, so a .4 nozzle work just fine with this print. But, if you have a .2 nozzle, you’ll get a bit nicer finish. I have the brim object gap set to .13 based on my printer. You may need to tweak it slightly if that gap is too big for your machine. I've included a print profile for both .4 and .2 nozzles.

I added another print file with a built in brim on either end.

I’ve printed test pieces on my X1C, A1 and A1mini using these setting and got great results. Just make sure you are using good, dry filament and your printer is dialed in.

I will probably be making one of these for plywood too…
