Description
Tensegrity octagon table.
I wanted to try to model this table as a decoration.
The biggest challenge was to create a chain that could be printed in one piece even with screws.
Each chain has a screw with a right-hand thread on one side and a left-hand thread on the other.
The right-hand thread is marked with a collar, see photo.
The table base for right-hand thread is marked with a small circle on the lower part, see photo.
Screw in one side of the chain only 1-2 turns, then partially screw in the other side, and only then screw both sides in at the same time until fully screwed in.
The center chain adjusts the tension of the chains
For printing, it is important to have a perfectly clean printing surface due to the very small contact area of the chain.

Added print profile for print only chains, or parts without chains. (you can print chains diferent color that others parts without AMS)
