Creality Space Pi - Filament Dryer - Humidity Fix!

It is quite well known that the Creality Space Pi filament dryers have a humidity problem. I just bought this a few days ago and the filament was still wet after 12+ hours of drying and the LCD would display 15% humidity within SECONDS of starting it?!

Quite obviously it is a design fault, Creality have mounted the Temp/Humidity sensor in DIRECT line of the HOT DRY AIR which will give your false readings.

This gasket will require some foam tape to seal it against the circuit board and another one to seal it against the inside edge. This will now force the sensor to only sense the air temp/humidity from the chamber

I recommend PETG, ABS or other high temp filament. No supports needed, there is a small overhang but no supports are needed.

TEST RESULTS:

BEFORE:

Time to heat up to 50c: 31 seconds

Time to 15% Humidity: 33 seconds

MEASURED Chamber Temp after 10 minutes: 27.2c

AFTER:

Time to heat up to 50c: 6m 28 seconds

Time to 15% Humidity: 8m12 seconds

MEASURED Chamber Temp after 10 minutes: 50.9c
