Nauticam Focus Gear for Lensbaby 28mm Lens

A Focus Gear for the Lensbaby 28mm manual focus lens designed for the Nauticam Nikon underwater housings. D850, Z8, etc. (It does not seem to fit the D800 due to the camera body flash creating an obstruction. I may redesign to address this.( As this lens is manual focus only, you require a focus gear to be able to use it effectively in an underwater housing.

This focus gear is in two parts. A TPU Rubber friction sleeve and a rigid Focus gear.

The Rubber sleeve slides over the lens with the ridge at the top end, closest to the outer end of the lens. The ridge on the sleeve should be aligned with the top of the lenses focus ring grip. I needed to add a few strips of black electrical tape to the inner surface of the sleeve to provide a little be more grip.

The Focus gear itself then slips over the sleeve. Gear side down, slide it up from the bottom on the lens, around the rubber friction sleeve, aligned with the ridge on the friction sleeve. Again, add a few strips of electrical tape to the inner surface of the gear ring if it slips or slides too much.
