Extraction System for the ANYCUBIC Photon Mono M5s

To minimize odors in the room, I designed an extraction system for my ANYCUBIC Photon Mono M5s.

The frame is as tall as the resin tank and has space for activated carbon filters in the rear corners. Currently, I’m using a 60x60x10 mm fan, but I plan to replace it with a more powerful 60x60x38 mm server fan with a maximum airflow of 1.9 m³/h. The smaller fan I’m currently using already improves air circulation significantly!

The front element can be easily pulled up to remove the resin tank. This allows the tank to be gripped from both the front and back for easy removal. I’ve secured the four rear elements with double-sided tape.

Another advantage of this extraction system is that the printer’s lid fits much more securely and has very little play compared to the original mounting with six screws in the base.

I’ve created the front cover in four different designs (please delete the three unwanted designs in Bambu!):

  • Clear (no lettering, no logo)
  • Logo (Anycubic logo)
  • Text (“ANYCUBIC” text)
  • Text & Logo (Anycubic logo + text)

I’ve also designed an adapter for a 60x60 mm fan and a 38 mm pipe connection (in my case, a leftover piece of pipe from a pool set). I will be drawing and adding more adapters soon. Feel free to contact me with your ideas, and I’ll try to adjust and upload them promptly.
