Description

Modular 1:30 scale Tesla Cybertruck

A simple snap-fit model, glue is required to affix windows and tire caps/snap pieces. I would recommend glue to affix the top and bottom halves together, however it is not required to sit on a shelf. This is mostly a port to Maker World from thingiverse so more people can enjoy this amazing model with tested print plates on an X1 Carbon. The A1 plate is made purely as a starting point, A1 makers feel free to test and make alternate print profiles if necessary.

I tilted the wheel inner snap piece because printing flat caused the wheels to break at the layer line. The orientation and manual support added was the best I could come up with to rectify the problem and has worked well for me thus far. Granted, some minor sanding was necessary to round off the first layer. I also recommend assembling the wheels first, letting the glue dry FULLY before assembling to the underbody. It does take a considerable press to get the wheels where they need to be, fitment is very secure and they can rotate semi-freely.

The Cybertruck print pictured above had a white headlight and red brake light added in post with an acrylic marker.
