Model

It is a wall picture or table decoration that also lights up and is suitable as a Christmas gift. It's something everyone can enjoy! To complete and illuminate the painting / decoration, you will need electric flashlights. Before printing, see the printing instructions.

Printing instructions

The Wolf in forest is printed in several parts. The size is 13 cm and the height is 5.4 cm. Orientation when printing should be placed on the mat with the flat side. It is designed for printing without supports. The Wolf in forest image is printed with a layer height of 0.2 and 0.4 nozzle with 100% straight fill and 1 perimeter. In the picture I used vanilla white filaments. Wolf in the forest needs to be folded. All parts are marked with a number and between each part it is necessary to insert a ring, which needs to be printed 13 pcs. The model can be proportionally reduced or enlarged!

I made two different printings: One box in yellow, some trees in green and on the last plate only moon and stars in yellow (paused at slice 10 for filament change). The other one is nearly completely white, only the back plate is yellow. The last two pictures are made without fairy ligths. Which one is the best?

A very nice model, I simply modified the casing and back panel, and added a suitable power supply and buckle

I think it is a very cool print file! it was fun to place together and it looks so cool. Printed as a gift for my father. Ordered led strip light/plug 🔌 to glue into back compartment.

This wolf in the forest looks amazing. I changed the color of some trees and added some colors to the moon (AMS here). Mostly easy to print, but there were problems with some branches because tiny parts were not connected to the tree, solved with arachne wall generator (wall transition threshold angle set to 50). I also removed the bottom 3 layers from the layer with the moon to make it lighter. Possible improvements: - add some guides to the base and layers to prevent the layers from rotating - redesign the back cover so that it can be fixed without glue

really great, I didn't know white filament was so much more translucent as I wanted to print it in silver (as that's what I had). I ended up designing a different backplate and modifying the housing to include captured nuts to make disassembly possible. I also placed the layers in during the print before the chamfers for my added captured nuts. I also tried to add a secret message inside where the lights are as this was a gift... finally added a cable winder, a baseplate for tabletop and I got glued white lights on the strip to the moon and the big star.
