Summary:
I decided to design and print a charging mount for my Pokemon Go Plus+ in my car. I always forget to charge it so I figured it would be beneficial to just charge it while I am driving around & driving to work. The assembly utilizes the main mount & an adapter plate below the mount to sandwich the 90 degree magnetic charger. So when you pull the Plus+ from the mount, the charging cable stays in place. You simply just pull and drop the device in and out of the mount.
Assembly Recommendations:
- I recommend using Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape in order to stick the mount to your dash. That specific tape is meant for remaining sticky while staying in extreme climate like inside your car. Removal is also easy and should not damage your car.
- I found some printable wire holding clips and stuck some Scotch Extreme Mounting Tape to the back of them in order to route the magnetic usb cable to my usb port in my truck
