Monport K40 CO2 Laser Exhaust

Monport K40+ exhaust adpater. This project has a 6" and 4" outlet option to fit most exhaust fans that are used. There is a base plate that replaces the original back plate from the laser. This plate inserts into the frame of the laser to provide extra support and to reduce the area that the air flow is being drawn from. Also, there is an oval cut from the laser tube compartment into the air passage from the inside of the laser to the original fan location; this oval cut creates a path for smoke and debris to enter the laser chamber as well as causing the exhaust to have to pull air from another compartment, reducing its overall effectiveness.

Print the baseplate, then the proper size exhaust cone, glue them together, and attach to your laser.
