Description

This is a Grovemade-inspired pen. It functions by twisting the top knob clockwise to eject the ink refill and counterclockwise to retract it. It has a minimalistic design and can be printed with a standard 0.4mm nozzle. It uses the standard G2 Parker-style insert, which measures 98mm long, and can be purchased at any office supply store. If you have refills with other dimensions, please let me know, and I can upload additional models with different sizes. The pen can be printed on one plate, but I found that printing the mechanism separately improves the smoothness of the operation.

ps: the skeches were made with this pen ;)

Required parts:

• Pen refill (should work with 98mm or 98.5mm refills)
• Pen spring
• 6mm of filament

Printing guide:

As you may see, there are two seperate print profiles. The first one is for the enclosure and the knob and the second one is for the mechanism inside due to different layer heights. To print the pen, you first need to click on the first print profile and then open it with bambu studio before opening the second print profile. Just adjust and select your filament. If you have an ams unit you just neet to click ont the resynk button and you should be good to go. Also remember to change the selected material for the pen.

Assembly guide:

After printing the two plates, carefully remove the brim from the parts. Make sure there are no leftover pieces, as they need to be trimmed away. A cutter knife is best for this task.

Once all the leftover pieces are removed, cut a 6mm piece of filament and insert it into the hole in the lower part of the mechanism. Slide this part into the upper part of the mechanism, ensuring that the filament is aligned symmetrically in the hole. Next, place these two parts into the mechanism’s enclosure. At this point, you can screw the knob onto the upper part of the mechanism, which should stick out of the enclosure.

Place the spring into the pen enclosure, followed by the refill (as mentioned, this should be a 98mm G2 Parker-style insert). Finally, screw the mechanism with the knob into the pen enclosure, and you’re ready to go!

If you encounter any issues or difficulties, please feel free to contact me on Discord (Jojodo2005#9346), and I’ll be happy to update the model.
