With original design, gluing the pins securely without seizing up the mechanism was frustrating. In the slicer I flipped one of each hinge over, and assembled the pins to the hinges, and modeled holes on the opposite hinges to press onto the pins. Goes together in seconds. For extra security, use a soldering iron and melt the ends of the pins into the counterbores. You may want to do a bit of sanding on the flipped hinges where the supports were. The black part is painted on with Sharpie oil based paint pen.
