Description

Some boxes for the board game “Dune Imperium Uprising” to set it up quickly and store it nicely inside the original box without much effort.

As the game box is really awful and it takes a lot of time to set it up I was looking for some inserts and found this one, where I made the remix from: https://makerworld.com/en/models/526342#profileId-443245
I created the remex as I do not own the expansion “Rise of Ix” and thought I could change things up a little bit to fit it more to my taste. I also sleeved the leader cards so they did not fit in the original design.

This Upload includes:

  • Player Trays
    • store all the player parts including the start deck
    • dedicated place for all the parts
    • place for the leader card, draw pile and discard pile
    • stand, where you can park the cards you played with your agent and/or for example intrigue cards if you wish
  • Resource Tray
    • dedicated, bowl like spaces for all resources and worms
    • display to show the cards you can currently buy
    • storage location for the leader cards inside the box
  • Card Tray
    • separated space for intrigue cards, the cards “the spice must flow” and “prepare the way” as well as the MAFEA plates
    • two additional spaces for the additional stuff
    • display to show the cards you can currently buy
  • Card Boxes Big (spitted in various ways)
    • Imperial cards (a little bit wider than the original one)
    • 6 Player cards, MAFEA Cards
    • 3D Worms
    • Haus Hagel and rival cards
  • Card Boxes Small (spitted in various ways)
    • Conflict, MAFEA and badge cards
    • 6 Player Stuff
    • one empty box to fill up the space

Amazing insert, the player boards are awesome! I opted for doing a top layer player color for them rather than the whole board. The Imperium deck does not fit on one tray due to the thicknesses my of my sleves (Dragon Shield Clear Matte). This was not an issue as I just split it into one of the other trays and the worms on the smaller empty tray. Also I printed at .2 like someone suggested because at .16 I had issues on one of the trays. Filamets: Bambu Lab Charcoal Black Matte PLA, Kexcelled Mustard Yellow Matte PLA, eSUN S-green PLA+, ELEGOO Burgundy Red PLA Pro, and Flashforge Blue Matte PLA.

Absolutely amazing organizer. I had issues with the floor printing on .16. Changed to .2 to match the floor height and it came out amazing. If your print has rough flooring, try switching the layer height but keeping the strength modifications.

Replying to @mprommeg :
Polymaker's Starlight line is solid gold. The blue is Twilight and the red is Mars. Doing Jupiter for yellow and Aurora for green. It's a bit pricy (30$/kg retail), but Imma keep buying it for these results :D

This organizer/insert should have come with the game! It makes setup so easy and fast. There is plenty of space, and fits sleeved cards (deck, intrigue and even player cards). The player boards prevent losing small tokens and are handy to keep track of the aquired resources. A small note: there is a typo in the title: the game is called 'Dune: Imperium Uprising', maybe more people can find this great insert if corrected?
