Catshire Door

"Catshire Door" – Let your cat enter its own little world of adventures with hobbit style!

This unique pet door opens in both directions thanks to a double hinge positioned at the top, allowing your furry friend to pass through easily, both forwards and backwards.

The surfaces of the door and the frame feature a realistic wood grain texture, perfect for adding that rustic touch that fits perfectly with any respectable Hobbit den.

The bronze decorations, inspired by the doors of the Shire's inhabitants, add a fairy-tale charm... The steel pins (DA021 25x3mm) are inserted into the hinge holes through two slots.

They should be pushed firmly into place using a flathead screwdriver. Once inserted, the pins cannot be removed. The green slot can be closed with the provided cap, while the other does not require one.

After drilling the panel where the door will be installed (a template is provided for marking the hole), secure the frame with 4 self-tapping screws (3mm). You can also use the template itself to finish the backside, and use nuts and bolts to secure both parts to the door.

I would have liked to add some magnets for a final touch, but the project started a bit late and the contest is about to end! If the "Catshire Door" wins the hearts of felines (and their owners), I might develop a version 2, even more epic and refined in detail.

Note: The door cannot be too thick; otherwise, the inner flap won't function properly (this is the challenge of making a round flap!).
