Description
This was modeled based on an original Toyota Tercel 5th gen glove box latch.
Additional parts required:
- Metal spring
- The actual locking mechanism
Recommended printing settings (Based on OrcaSlicer):
- Infill: 100%
- Wall loops: 3
- Supports: On
Recommended Materials (Anything Heat Resistant):
- ABS, ASA, PETG, etc.
Tolerances are really tight. You will need a precise printer and a quality filament. In the contrary just sand down the parts until they glide nicely. In the featured pictures I was using neither; so I had to sand them. In addition, they were printed in ASA and I vapor smooth them with acetone.
