Enphase IQ Gateway and Comms kit coverplate

This cover plate for the Enphase Gateway is a great way to hide the wires and the Comms kit (for the Enphase battery).

The cover plate hides the Enphase Comms Kit required for an Enphase battery. It is mounted under the IQ Gateway to keep the wiring out of sight. The cover plate was designed for a customer where the IQ Gateway and Comms kit could not be hung in the meter box, so it hangs in plain sight and is not very pretty to look at because of all the wires.

You can use a clear cylinder to give the impression that an LED is mounted in the cover plate, but in fact the cylinder is made of clear filament and can be mounted in the cover plate at the level of the LED on the comms kit. You need to drill a hole where you want it. Then glue the transparent cylinder into the ring and glue it into the cover plate from the inside. Determine the dimensions of the cylinder and ring to suit your situation.

The cover plate is custom made, so it's not a standard solution for everyone. But maybe there are people who can use this idea.
