Toilet Handle and Toilet Arm Complete Replacement

Description

Fix your bathroom with this newly enhanced 3D printed toilet handle replacement! Originally based on a design from Thingiverse Thing:1582357, I’ve made several key modifications to improve functionality, durability, and aesthetics, while still abiding by the original license agreement.

Modifications Made:

• Nut Size Correction: Adjusted the nut size for a proper fit with the bolt (this was an issue with the original design), ensuring easy installation and a secure hold.
• Handle Redesign: Modernized the handle’s appearance for a sleeker, more appealing look. It got rid of the snap design because that broke too easily and replaced it with a threaded end for easy installation and durability. The nut that goes on at the end of the handle is 9/16, but hand tightening is recommended cause if you make it too tight, you will have issues with allowing the handle to rotate freely.
• Improved Connection: Enhanced the connection between the handle and the arm for a tighter, more reliable fit.
• Strength Optimization: Strengthened the overall design by applying 90% infill where necessary, ensuring durability and longevity.
• Brim and Support Adjustments: Optimized the print profile to include brims for stability and added supports for a flawless print every time.
• Minimal Waste Printing: The print profile ensures minimal waste by printing by object, eliminating the need for frequent color changes. For simplicity, I printed all parts in white to match my toilet, but feel free to choose any color or mix and match to your bathroom decor!

Features:

• Universal Fit: Compatible with most standard toilet models in the USA that are not operated by a button.
• Easy Installation: Simple to install with no special tools required. The tight fit between the handle and the arm ensures long-term functionality. you can hand tighten the nut and push in the handle into the arm all without any tools needed but you can certainly grab a tool to tighten the nut to your liking, however, keep in mind that its plastic and cant take much torque, also a lot of torque shouldn't be needed for this anyway. Hand tightening should be enough.

• I need to reverse the threads for both threads, because in most plumbing appliances you will find the threads are reversed on purpose. This is so the nut wont come loosen little by little every time you flush the toilet. To be completely honest though, I don't see this being too big of an issue with the current setup which is why I am releasing it the current version.
• Possibly include a plastic chain? That way more parts can be replaced if things break.
• Add a curved arm for toilets that have curved bowls and toilet arms.
• Extended the length of the toilet handle. It's a decent size right now and is completely usable even when the toilet seat is raised but I think it will be more helpful to have a longer handle.

Print Settings:

• Material: PLA or material of your choice (PETG is most likely a better option in this case)
• Infill: 90% on all parts
• Supports: on the Toilet handle and nut for the handle only (might be ok to not have supports but I left them on for this just in case)
• Brim: Applied to ensure stability on the nut and the bolt and arm.
• Recommended Colors: White or any color of your choice.
