Description
ISOLATION BOOKCASE EDITION
Isolate your opponents’ pawns by removing the land tiles around their pawn piece by piece. On your turn, you move your Lighthouse Pawn one space, then remove a tile to expose open blue water. The object is to isolate your opponents so they cannot move.
The fully 3D Printed game is complete with all playing pieces, game board and bookcase style box to be stored on a shelf.
Information
All parts were printed with PLA filament. I use a textured plate for adhesion. Some parts will need to be superglued, for example, the book spines are glued to the square cornered side of the bookcase box.
Countless hours have gone into the collection and I hope to continue to expand the collection based on continued interest. Some of the games are long and large prints.
PLAYING ISOLATION
Set up
1. Use the center ring connector to join all 4 board pieces together.
2. Place the green tiles in all the empty blue squares on the board.
3. Place each player's lighthouse pawn on one of the starting spaces at the edge of the board.
Gameplay
The first player moves their pawn 1 square in any direction (diagonally, vertically, or horizontally), and then selects and removes any green tile on the board, leaving an empty square that cannot be entered by any pawn.
The next player performs the same sequence, moving their pawn and removing any tile.
Play then rotates between all players in a clockwise manner.
Victory conditions
The first player to isolate all their opponent's pawns so that their opponents have no legal moves is the winner.
