Perfect *HEAVY* Olympic Gold Medal for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Weighted with pennies. All parts align with pins made from standard 1.75mm filament. Large legible fonts.

 

Features:

Locating pin holes that use 1.75mm filament as pins

Specially designed internals to accept three stacks of (3) pennies to increase the weight and feel of your gold medal.

Minimal support material

 

Use with 7/8" ribbon during assembly.

Good model. The 6 little claws that holds the center piece easily broke. I need to glue those. Understandable since they are protruding small structures.

Absolutely amazing model! Printed four sets in matte gray PLA Basic for an upcoming Olympics theme party. Primed in black Krylon Fusion spray paint, and then used Krylon ColorMaxx Gold and Rustoleum Aged Iron Textured spray paints. Had a bit of an issue with certain newer penny fitment/total height in the one piece's slots, so I used all old worn ones : ). I glued the parts together instead of using filaments. I did push too hard on one of the "iron" pieces and broke off the little tabs on the gold face part, but just reprinted that one part and was more careful after that. Was a bit disappointed that I couldn't find blue ribbon with some type of embroidery similar enough to the actual 2024 ribbons.
