Description

New version available!

All that photo stands I saw was missing one thing - strength. They fell apart easily. Others were to bulky to print.

So, I made my own.

This stand provides a sweep, or curved, seamless background for photographing small to medium sized objects. This photo stand that can be used with any straight improvised means, like ruler, chopsticks, anything straight to create stable construction.

This design can be scaled even to 300% and used with big paper formats, like A2, A1.

This design takes 25 grams of plastic and 40mins on my A1 mini. I think it's super lightweight. No supports/brims needed.

Hope, you'll like it.

Please, share your thoughts and make. And take look to my models.

Great model. Functions exactly as described. Print was easy and clean. Personally, I needed bit more height to hold an A3 paper vertically in portrait. So I modelled out a pair of vertical inserts to added 150mm height to the original stand. Inserts slots right into the top clips of this original stands.

I’ve printed a few stands for my son. but this is the absolute best one. i printed at 280% on the P1S to hold a size B2 poster board.

Scaled up 150% on the height and 125% on the base length. Works perfect, even freestanding! Saved me a night of CAD :)

It's far larger than I anticipated, yet remarkably useful! Perfect!

works great. copy paper for the backdrop and then a nice big sheet for the floor to expand it out. very pleased for smaller objects. I have an actual studio with strobes. but breaking that out for a quick photo like a print review isn’t worth the time so this really fills a niche and take next to no space when broken down or in full setup like my portrait studio gear does.

Realized this after I had already printed and reviewed it.. oops I will probably go print it since they take so little filament. Thanks @Vasichkin!
