Description

Introducing Project C.O.L.D (Convection Optimized Liquid Down-cooling)

This is my latest 3D printable creation that can chill any 12oz can of soda down to fridge-cold in under 2 minutes!

This design uses convection to chill drinks super fast. It's straightforward to use and easy to build, making it perfect for quick beverage cooling when you need it most.

Working on this project has been a blast, and I’m excited to see it make chilling your drinks a breeze!

One part, (motor shaft) will need to be printed in TPU, The rest is all done in PLA with filament being used for the hinges

I've attached a Bill-of-materials for anyone who wants to build one (I put one extra of each screw just in case)

Assembly can be done by looking at the pictures

i've been manually chilling warm beers with this method for probably 30 years - I want to make a manual one that accepts bottles so when I'm at a bar and get a warm beer or nursing it too long a cup of ice will fix it. If I get anywhere I'll post a link. Nice job.

good luck with that! it’s pretty insane how well this methed works, it takes a warm soda from warm to ice cold in under 2mins. it doesn’t even make it explode when you open it lol😂

hey just curious have you gotten anywhere with your design yet? I’ve Been thinking people might like this design better if it was hand cranked with a gear ratio! but I definitely won’t start on it if you were wanting to make the design your self!
