Summary
This is a 1:1 life-sized replica of the famous 37mm armor-piercing anti-tank round that was used to great effect by the US and Allies in WWII. It was used primarily for anti-tank duties in the first few years of the war, in the North Africa campaign, South Pacific, and the Eastern Front. However, it was used throughout the whole war in the M3 Stuart Light Tank. In the earlier years of the war, German and Japanese armor was still thin enough that the standard anti-tank round was this 37mm. By the later years of the war, armor had grown thick enough that larger calibers were needed to take out a tank, such as 76mm and even 88mm.
The model snaps together for easy assembly, no glue required.
