15mm belt slider

This 15mm strap belt slider is modelled to be cast however if you are making a costume it is plenty strong enough in PLA to hold up through an event.

• due to its size and curves, this model will require some sanding to smooth out its surface!

I find it hard to find hardware that suits my projects as a leathercrafter and having parts custom made can get expensive, I decided to cast my own custom hardware, to make the forms for the casts I designed these prints which are themselves perfectly capable of being used for costumes.

This slider is based on the belts from the BBC's The musketeers which this buckle is based off of. this slider is meant to fit a sword frog for rapier.

I'm afraid I don't know who the designer was on the show but they deserve a lot of the credit for this design.

If you wish to print this buckle to fit a larger belt it is scalable but be caution of the height as it its curve will be quite high if scaled in all directions.
